Situation: Our self-catering cottage flat is located in Hagen at Teutoburger Forest, North West Germany, approximately 9 km south of Osnabrueck, in Lower Saxony, 100 km west of Hannover. The area offers long walks in the Teutoburger Forest, a chain of hills up to 330m. Our house was built in 1870 (history), reconstructed in 1990. Sleeping a maximum of 7 people the cottage provides an excellent holiday location for walking, riding, mountain biking, bird watching and many other outdoor pursuits, or for just sitting back and soaking up the relaxing German way of country life! Located in a sunken garden, it is an unexpected and welcome retreat. |
Hagen a.T.W. is a small town with all the usual shops, nice restaurants and facilities within walking distance of our house (1,5 km), enabling guests to relax and leave the car behind in the evenings after days spent exploring the unique, local, natural environment on offer. Hagen is known as one of the gateways to the Regional Park of Teutoburger Forest, a popular vacation region. The self-catering cottage flat is one part of two connected houses and has independent access and benefits from all the facilities associated with quality self-catering holiday accommodation in Germany.
